Meet Lisa Shaul, the owner of Rochester Residential & Commercial Cleaning

Hello, I’m Lisa Shaul, founder of Rochester Residential and Commercial Cleaning. The journey to starting this company began with a personal challenge and a vision. In 2011, I was diagnosed with Retinitis Pigmentosa, a progressive eye disease that leads from normal vision to tunnel vision and, ultimately, a significant loss of sight. The first change I experienced was the loss of my night vision, which meant driving or working late was no longer an option. This disease forced me to give up my real estate career, as I could no longer handle the demanding evening hours.

But with five children to raise on my own, giving up was not an option. I needed a career that would allow me the flexibility to manage my condition and support my family. Cleaning was something I already enjoyed and had experience with, as I’d often take care of my real estate listings myself. I realized I could transform my love for cleaning into a business that would work around my schedule and provide for my family.

Fast forward 12.5 years, and Rochester Residential and Commercial Cleaning has grown far beyond my initial vision. Today, we proudly serve the Rochester area and its surroundings, offering specialized services for both residential and commercial clients. Our mission has always been to liberate homeowners from the stress of balancing work and home, and we’ve expanded this to meet the unique needs of businesses as well.

I am blessed to have an incredible team by my side, a group of people who genuinely care about our clients and their spaces. Together, we are committed to bringing excellence, reliability, and empathy to every job, ensuring our clients have a space they can truly enjoy.
